What you can expect when you book with Snake River Weddings & Events:

First: professionalism, equity, and vision. We have high standards and we expect the best from our clients and all vendors too. Mutual respect and common courtesy go a long way! Especially on busy days with so many people working together. Communication and kindness are key when coming together for a common goal and I would love to help to ensure that every step is carefully planned and executed. Your satisfaction and experience is important to us, and we want you to leave us with the hope to work with us again!

Second, I am here to make this easy for you! The first step is sending me a quick email with your contact information and wedding (or event) date. If I have it available, we will move forward with booking an in-person or virtual meeting where we will discuss your vision, hopes, and objectives for the wedding (or event.) We will determine how I can best serve you, set a duration for the day, set a budget, and have you put down a deposit for my services.

Third, I will get to work and find you the very best vendors, at the best price, and send you contracts and agreements as they come. I will keep you updated throughout the process and keep your vendors informed of any changes or requirements as well. We will meet again about two weeks before your wedding (or event) and finalize all of the details. On the day of the wedding (or event) I will be there to coordinate and oversee all of the details and be sure that everything goes off without a hitch!

Why do we need a wedding planner, can't we just do this ourselves?

When you hire us to plan your wedding or event; you are paying for peace of mind, design and planning expertise, time spent, and the enjoyment of your wedding or event on that day. You will not have to worry about how the florals are distributed, who is picking up the linens, or where the rings are located. I will be taking care of all of that for you so that you can save time and energy, before the wedding or event, and also your time and attention on the day of- ensuring an enjoyable, stress-free, and unforgettable experience.

Who signs the contracts with the vendors?

Legally it is not wise for me to sign contracts for your wedding or event. You must be the one to ultimately choose your vendors after I have brought all of the information to you. I will read the contracts, then forward them to you. You will need to carefully read through all of them and forward them back to me for my records. After that, I have you covered and will take over from there!

Will you be there the entire day of the wedding or event?

If you book me for full or partial day planning, or coordinating only, then yes! I will be overseeing everything from florals to the exchanging of rings, or in the case of an event; the parking to the party favors! If you have other plans, or if you have an intimate event, I would be happy to make other arrangements to give you your privacy.

Where are you located and what areas do you serve?

I am located in Rigby, Idaho- right between Rexburg and Idaho Falls. It's the perfect spot for traveling to both cities! I gladly serve cities from Jackson, Wyoming to Pocatello, Idaho; including Jackson Hole, Victor, Island Park, Sugar City, Rexburg, Ririe, Rigby, Idaho Falls, Blackfoot, and Pocatello.
